Minto House is a private, family run bed and breakfast where a warm welcome awaits you from the resident proprietors. Children are most especially welcome in our family home.

We have a selection of rooms ranging from single to family size. All rooms are centrally heated, with a colour television and refreshments. In addition to facilities in the rooms there are hair dryers and irons for residents to use on request. Should you require laundry services during your stay, there is a launderette and dry cleaners just two minutes from the door. En-suite facilities are also available.

An extensive continental breakfast is included in all our prices. This includes a selection of cereals, fruit, jams, toast, yoghurt, cheeses, fruit juice, herbal teas, and other seasonal items.

	Breakfast Included Children Friendly Non Smoking		It's easy to get here! If you are coming by car from the southwest turn off A74 at Moffat. Follow A701 - A7. By car from the north: Follow City Bypass then Edinburgh South - A7. For other routes: City centre then A701 South of Princes Street - 1 ¼ miles. We are on the left hand side of Minto St - A701. Edinburgh International Airport has links with airports in the UK and Europe. You can get a bus from the airport to Waverly Station outside the terminal. A taxi from the airport to Minto Guesthouse will cost approximately £15 - £18. Nearly all buses from Waverly station, going up Princes St. will pass our house. Ask the driver to let you off at Minto St.		Should you wish to pay by credit card there will be a 5% surcharge. However if you pay by debit card there is no surcharge. Please note that this is a non-smoking guesthouse. Please also note that we do not accept one night bookings on Fridays or Saturdays between April and September. We have a minimum stay over certain other times: four nights over the new year two nights in august two nights on rugby weekends (10th Feb, 24th Feb, and 10th March 2007) Please feel free to enquire with us as we may sometimes have a room available for just one night, but this is the usual policy.
