| Queen Margaret University offers campus-based student accommodation in lovely new grounds overlooking eastern Edinburgh, Arthur's Seat, the Forth coastline and the rolling East Lothian countryside. The campus is located in Musselburgh, on the eastern outskirts of Edinburgh, on the number 30 bus route. There is also free parking onsite. Our single & double rooms are located in units of 3-, 4-, 5- & 6-bedroom flats. We can also offer first class sport and leisure facilities, for a small charge. This is the ideal base for visitors to the historic and cultural city of Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Forth coastline, Pentland Hills. There are several excellent hiking trails nearby. And for golf lovers, there are some excellent golf courses within easy reach - anything from city, coastline and hillside courses!! We have friendly student staff on reception from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week, to help with directions to the best restaurants, pubs and attractions in Edinburgh and the Lothians. *Breakfast or internet access are not included in the rates but available if arranged at time of booking at a cost of £6.50pp for breakfast and £10.00 per IT account.* Available from July to late August only. Check in time: 2.00 pm Check out time: 10.00 am Payment of the outstanding balance must be made prior to arrival by credit/debit card. Please leave a contact number with your booking. Any arrivals after 10.00 pm will not be allowed into their rooms if the balance is not paid in advance. |

Alternatively, take the number 30 bus to Musselburgh. It takes approx 30 minutes and stops on campus. BY CAR Take the eastbound A720 city bypass to the Craighall roundabout, then head on to the northbound A1. Take next exit at Fort Kinnaird, then back onto the southbound A1. The QMU exit is half a mile away. BY AIR QMU is located 17 miles from Edinburgh Airport, just along the A720, the city bypass, as above. Alternatively, take the Airport bus (number 100) to Princes Street, then either take the number 30 bus (30 mins) or a train from Waverley station to Musselburgh station (1 stop, 6 mins' journey). BY BUS From Princes Street (Gardens side) take number 30 bus to Musselburgh. It stops on campus. There is also a night bus running. BY RAIL Take the train to Edinburgh Waverley station then another for Musselburgh. The campus is 2 mins' walk from the station. BY FERRY From Europe take a Ferry to Rosyth. Cross the Forth Bridge and take the A720, the city bypass. Circle the south side of the city, then as above.
