It forms part of The Maltings development at the foot of Salisbury Crags and on the edge of Holyrood Park. A short walk will take you to the bustling Newington area of the city with theatres, cinemas, restaurants and shops. Situated on the south side of the ciry centre, this apartment gives you the best of both parts of Edinburgh with the beautiful Holyrood Park only 100m away and the bustling shops and visitor attractions of the city centre a short distance away.

On the west side of the development, this bright, sunny first floor apartment is very comfortably furnished. You can park free in the bays outside the apartment, buses are 400m away and there are good local shops in nearby South Clerk Street. The apartment is close to the Commonwealth Swimming Pool and is 2km from Waverley Station.

After a busy days shopping on Princes street or the nearby South Clerk Street guests can unwind in one of the nearby restaurants and bars. Private parking for one car is available.This apartment may be suitable for the less able.

Edinburgh Airport has direct flights from Europe, and has easy air connections with London and the rest of Britain. The airport is 15 km from the city centre. Guest can travel via taxi or take one of the shuttle buses from the airport to the city centre.

By Road
The fast A1 and M1 and M6 motorways stretch almost the whole way from London to Edinburgh. There are daily coach services from London, Manchester and Newcastle.

Directions by rail:
Fast express trains serve Edinburgh. The journey time from London to Edinburgh is about 4 hours. Waverley Station is 2km from Glen House.

Directions from Waverly Station (City Centre):
East Parkside Apartments are approx 10 minute walk from Waverly Bridge. Turn right onto Jeffrey Street after the Bridge and veer right on to St Mary's. Continue straight on to Leonards Street. Guest should then turn at the 1st left after the main junction on to Holyrood Park Road and take the first right onto East Parkside.
